Come off M6 motorway at Junction 36 and take A590 towards Barrow/Lakes. Take first slip road (3 miles)  and continue towards Barrow. At next traffic island, take first turning towards Grange. Continue through Lindale into Grange, up Main street and at painted circle at top of slight hill, take left along Esplanade. We are about 12 – 14 houses down on right. Take 2nd entrance and park. We will probably see you there, otherwise please ring bell.

“Wycombe” is in a conservation area nestling between the English Lake District National Park and the sea. Yet the Flats are close to local amenities, including the mile long promenade, new tennis courts, ornamental gardens and parks, bowling greens, play grounds, shops, restaurants and bars. There are 2 golf courses; a 9 hole fell side and an 18-hole parkland course.

A viewpoint (1km from flats and within the national park itself) gives views across the Lake District, to famous landmarks and the Isle of Man, and Snowdonia in clear weather. Access is via a beautiful woodland walk, fell-side and a natural limestone pavement.  Or take car to higher point near the fell golf course, and make steady climb through sheep grazed pastures. Stunning views.

Whilst Grange offers complete holiday relaxation, it is also ideally central for touring the Lake District, Furness and Cartmel Peninsulas, Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and several nearby designated-areas of natural beauty plus Fylde coastal resorts.

Grange is well connected by rail and road to the historic northern cities of York, Chester, Lancaster and Edinburgh, all within reach for day trips, and has direct trains linking Manchester airport.

There are numerous tourist opportunities within the Lake District and all those booking with us will receive information on many of them. Approach by car through amazing scenery or take tours to get the full impact and enjoyment.

Car Parking

We have increased the size of our car park and can now accept second cars. Parking is free for the first car but a charge is made for those requiring dual slots.
